Training Locations

Groups and remote locations

Most groups have their own facilities and prefer that we come to them. That's fine with us. All of our equipment is easily portable and we can deliver it anywhere you want us to do your training. Please make sure you discuss space requirements when you book your training to be sure it will accomodate the number of students planned.

No. 18 (Shaughnessy) Firehall

1375 West 38th Ave.
Vancouver, B.C.

The Graham White Room is where most of our CPR courses are held. It is located at the corner of West 38th and Cartier St. (near 41st and Granville) There is limited parking at the rear of the hall, or you can park on the street along West 37th Ave. If you take transit, get off on Granville at 38th Ave or on 41st Ave at Cartier St. and walk (about 1 block).

Chess Street Training Grounds

1330 Chess St.
Vancouver, BC

Chess Street is the training facility for Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services and is where Red Cross First-Responder courses are held. Located in Strathcona just over 1 km from Main St. Skytrain station, or the 22 bus stops at Prior / Hawks. There is plenty of parking inside the compound.

No. 10 (UBC) Firehall

2992 Wesbrook Mall
Vancouver, B.C.

The U.B.C. firehall is where the Red-Cross WEFA courses are held. Located on Wesbrook Mall just North of 16th Ave. extension. It is within walking distance of the U.B.C. bus-loop (about 1 km), or the 25, 33, 41, 43, and 49 buses all stop right in front of the hall. There is ample parking on the South side of the hall.

Firehall Branch Library (Fairview)

1455 West 10th Ave.
Vancouver, B.C.

The Firehall Branch Library is where our monthly blood pressure clinics are held. It is co-located in the same building as #4 Firehall on West 10th Avenue just off Granville. There is only on-street (metered) parking in the area so public transit or cycling/walking are good alternatives. There are many buses that stop at Granville and Broadway.

No. 7 (Downtown) Firehall

1090 Haro St.
Vancouver, B.C.

No. 7 Firehall is just off Robson St. at Thurlow/Smithe. Parking at the hall is limited, so public transit or cycling/walking are good alternatives. It is about 600 meters from Burrard Skytrain Station, and many buses stop at Burrard/Robson just 1 block away.

No. 17 (Fraserview) Firehall

Vancouver, B.C.

No. 17 Firehall is located right on Knight St. at East 55th Ave. There is limited parking available at the rear of the hall (enter off 55th). The #22 bus runs along Knight and stops near the hall.
